GrayVyne is an open-walled community, meaning the entire source code will be given to your learners with gratitude, because we know they’ll treat it with care and try to make it better. This is the example software project on GrayVyne where an elementary school community came together to build a solution. It’s a software plugin already installed on the GrayVyne platform, and it’s your learners’ responsibility to implement the solution at your local elementary school. If your learners want to take the code and customize it for your school, they can do it! If they want to use it as is and implement a new way to keep track of kiddos during a fire drill, they can do that too! In either case, this project requires learners to change the status quo at one of their elementary schools—and that’s the hard part.
