Aspiring chefs could design their own “Specials Menu” for a local restaurant and have it prepared and served to patrons over a specific weekend. Learners would work with the owner, chef, and cooks at a local restaurant to get feedback on their meal choices, determine where to source the ingredients, and explain how to cook each dish on the menu. Once the menu is perfected and the restaurant approves it, your learners get to be part of this special night. Learners get to contribute to and be part of each dish that’s made. Patrons have an option to choose this special menu, and if they do, your learners will greet and thank them personally after their meal and receive valuable feedback.
